Privacy

Nettkompass is a free resource about children’s internet safety. We believe a site about protecting children should itself be a model of privacy. Here is exactly what happens when you visit.

What we collect

Nothing. We don’t use analytics. We don’t use tracking pixels. We don’t have login forms, comment sections, or newsletter sign-ups. There is no JavaScript on this site.

Cookies

Nettkompass itself does not set any cookies. However, the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare may set the following strictly necessary cookies as part of its security infrastructure:

These cookies are set by Cloudflare, not by Nettkompass. We have no access to them. They are classified as “strictly necessary” under GDPR and do not require consent.

Hosting and server logs

Nettkompass is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes your request as part of normal web hosting. This includes:

This data is processed by Cloudflare for security and network operations (e.g., DDoS protection, bot detection). It is not shared with Nettkompass. Cloudflare retains this data for a limited time as described in their privacy policy.

Third-party services

None. We don’t load fonts from Google, scripts from CDNs, analytics from anyone, or ads from anywhere. Every resource on this site is served from our own domain.

Your rights under GDPR

Since we don’t collect personal data ourselves, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. For data processed by Cloudflare as our hosting provider, you can contact them directly through their privacy policy.

If you have questions about this site’s privacy practices, contact us at kontakt@nettkompass.no.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here. The site has no mechanism to notify visitors of changes because we don’t have your email address — which is rather the point.
