barnevakten.no Independent organisation that advises parents on children and media. App reviews, age recommendations and practical guides.

📊 Medietilsynet

medietilsynet.no Government agency that researches children’s media use. Their annual “Barn og Medier” (Children and Media) survey is the best source of data on Norwegian children’s digital lives.

🎓 Dubestemmer.no

dubestemmer.no Educational resource aimed at children and young people in schools, covering digital judgement, privacy and online safety. Excellent material for teachers.

🔒 Datatilsynet

datatilsynet.no Norway’s data protection authority. Has dedicated resources on children’s privacy online.

Phone number: 800 333 21 Free helpline for children and young people. Chat, phone and messages. If your child needs someone to talk to — this is the place.

👧 Barneombudet

barneombudet.no The Children’s Ombudsman in Norway. Works on children’s rights, including digital rights.

🚔 Kripos — report online abuse

Contact the police If you suspect a child is being subjected to online abuse, contact the police. You can also submit an anonymous tip.

🌍 Slettmeg.no

slettmeg.no Free advisory service for anyone who has had unwanted content published online. Helps with removing images, profiles and other material.

📵 Smarttelefonfri barndom (Smartphone-Free Childhood)

smarttelefonfribarndom.no Parent-driven network working towards a childhood without smartphones. Practical advice, a supportive community and local groups across Norway.
